In the acute loss of vision the patient must be hospitalized in the ophthalmology department or, in the presence of additional symptoms (high blood pressure, sudden headache, nausea, dizziness) in the neurological department. Before the arrival of an ambulance must be near the patient, try to calm him down (take validol, valerian), to lay and forbidden to stand up, measure pulse and blood pressure. At a high pressure to give preparations reducing pressure (not fall below 160/80 mm Hg.)
