Hepatomegaly is the condition of having an enlarged l iver. It is a nonspecific medi cal sign having many causes, which can broadly be broken down into infectio n, direct toxicity, hepatic t umours, or metabolic d isorder. 

Splenomegaly is a enlargemet of spleen as a result of its involvement in the pathological process.

Banti's syndrome is a combined liver enlargement (hepatomegaly) and spleen (splenomegaly) due to involvement in the pathological process of the two bodies.
